How to Configure FlowMattic MCP Server in Windsurf

To configure the FlowMattic MCP Server in Windsurf, follow the steps below:

Steps to Set Up:

  1. Open Windsurf Settings:
    Launch Windsurf and navigate to Preferences > Windsurf Settings from the application menu.

  2. Access Plugin Management:
    Navigate to the Cascade section and click on Manage Plugins to open the plugin configuration area.

  1. Edit Raw Configuration File:
    Inside the Manage Plugins view, click on View Raw Config. Copy and paste the following MCP server configuration into the file, replacing the placeholder URL with your actual FlowMattic MCP Server URL.

  1. Save Configuration:
    Press CMD+S (Mac) or CTRL+S (Windows) to save the configuration file. The FlowMattic MCP server will be added and enabled automatically.

  • Double-check that you’re using the correct MCP URL provided by FlowMattic.
  • Make sure the configuration is properly formatted to avoid any errors.
  • If the server doesn’t appear or function as expected, try restarting Windsurf after saving the configuration.
