Step by Step Documentation for Text Formatter by FlowMattic:
1. Create a New Workflow
Go to the FlowMattic Dashboard, where you can manage and create workflows. To start a new workflow, click the “New Workflow” button located in the top-right corner of the Dashboard. This will begin the process of creating your new workflow
2. Add the Number Formatter as an Action Step

Click the “+” icon in your workflow to add a new action step.

In the search bar that appears, type “Number Formatter” and select it from the list of available actions. This will add the Number Formatter to your workflow, allowing you to proceed with its configuration.
3. Action Events Available in Number Formatter
Select an Action Event. In the “Action Event” section, choose from the following options:
3.1 Format Number : This action reformats the given number into a new style. Use this when you need to change the appearance or structure of numerical data to fit specific requirements.
3.2 Format Phone Number : This action formats a given phone number, allowing you to include or exclude the country code. It’s ideal for standardizing phone numbers in your database or communications.
3.3 Format Currency : This action adjusts the format of currency values, ensuring consistency across different workflows or applications. It’s particularly useful for financial data processing.
3.4 Decimal Converter : This action converts a given number to a different decimal format, allowing you to control the number of decimal places for your data. It’s helpful in calculations or data presentation.
3.5 Minor Unit Conversion : This action converts a given number to a different minor unit. For example, it can transform major currency units into minor units (e.g., dollars to cents), making it easier to perform specific calculations or analyses.
